Sure, bacon makes everything better. But brussels sprouts and bacon are a particularly great combination. The savory flavors and perfectly crispy texture make it a winning dish every time. It’s simple enough for a weeknight dinner, but nice enough to serve at the holidays. And you can always swap the bacon for pancetta if you want to make it a little fancier.

Brussels Sprouts with Bacon Recipe

2 Bags (1 pound) Seal the Seasons Brussel Sprouts

4 Strips Thick-Cut Bacon

2 Tablespoons Butter

½ Onion (chopped)

Salt and Pepper to taste


STEP 1: Cook frozen brussels sprouts in microwave, according to package instructions. Let cool slightly and chop in half (if desired).

STEP 2: Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium high heat until slightly crispy. Remove from pan and roughly chop.

STEP 3: In the same pan with the bacon grease, melt butter over high heat. Add onions and brussels sprouts and sautee until onions are soft and brussels are starting to brown.

STEP 4: Return bacon to skillet and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
