In the beginning of May, we posted a shortlist of 5 Protein-Rich Plants and Vegetables for you to incorporate into your life, especially as many grocery stores are beginning to experience shortages due to lapses in the meat supply chain. While one of the options for handling how this affects your family is to buy more diverse types of meat, another option is to take this current moment as a time to consider new dietary habits.

  If you fall into the latter group and not the former, you’re in luck: We have put together a list of 50 vegetarian and vegan recipes that put these foods to the test. After scouring the internet, we have successfully put together a list of recipes that incorporate black beans, green peas, broccoli spinach, and alfalfa sprouts. To take things a step further, we have also organized our list into 25 vegetarian recipes, along with 25 vegan recipes, with each vegetable featuring five of each type.

  We hope that you enjoy this list. While there are a lot of options to go through, if there is anything that should be taken away, it is that there are plenty of options out there for people unsure of whether a vegetarian lifestyle is for them.
