2 Cups Seal the Seasons Broccoli Florets (thawed and drained)
1/2 Medium Onion, Minced
1 Tsp Minced Garlic
3 Large Eggs
2 Egg Yolks
1 & 1/2 Cup Milk or Half and Half
1 & 1/2 Cups Shredded Cheese (Swiss or White Cheddar)
2 Tbsp Butter
1/2 Tsp salt
1/2 Tsp pepper
Directions
STEP 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 9-inch deep-dish pie pan with crust.
STEP 2: Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add onion, garlic, and broccoli. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are soft. Spoon vegetables into crust and sprinkle with cheese.
STEP 3: In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, yolks, milk (or half-and-half), salt, and pepper until combined. Pour mixture over pie crust.
STEP 4: Bake quiche in preheated oven until center is set and a knife inserted comes out clean. (Approx. 30-50 minutes)
