In a medium or large pan, melt butter and coat the pan. Add green beans; cook, stirring constantly, over high heat until slightly blistered, 2-3 minutes.
On high heat, add in the frozen green beans and stir constantly until slightly blistered. This takes about 2-5 minutes.
For the sauce, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes. Pour sauce over green beans and mix together.
Continue cooking and stirring until beans are coated and the sauce starts to evaporate slightly, 2-3 minutes.
