Oven-roasted cauliflower is a simple, delicious, side dish that is a rich source of fiber, and is relatively easy to cook. But a question that we receive quite a bit is whether or not frozen cauliflower - such as the offerings available from Seal the Seasons - are okay to roast as well? In short, the answer is yes!
Roasting takes a little longer when using frozen vegetables, and they may not get quite as crispy if they still have ice on them - so consider thawing them before roasting if you want to enjoy a crispier texture profile. But with a little patience, however, you'll be rewarded with a perfectly caramelized, flavorful side dish that requires minimal effort.
2 Bags Seal the Seasons Cauliflower
¼ Cup Olive Oil or Olive Oil Spray
½ Tsp. Kosher Salt
¼ Tsp. Black Pepper
¼ Tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tsp. Roughly Chopped Thyme
¼ Tsp. Crushed Red Pepper or Cayenne (Optional)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Coat frozen cauliflower with olive oil (or olive oil spray) and toss with seasonings.
Spread prepared cauliflower on a baking sheet and roast until golden brown (about 45 min)
